SHAKOPEE. At Canterbury Park, you'll find horse racing from May 'til Labor Day, not to mention gaming and simulcasting throughout the year. A children's play yard is available too, as are picnic facilities, restaurants, and concession stands. Racing novices can take advantage of seminars on betting before the start of each day's events. When the ponies aren't running, there may be rock concerts, motorcycle races, and swap meets.
